Club visit brings out the kids in us

Boys & Girls Club

For more than a decade, Imaginasium has supported the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay with marketing expertise and materials. It’s an organization that makes a huge impact in our community. Plus, the work is extremely rewarding.

So, in an effort to stay connected with their ongoing story, two Imaginasium department meetings were held at the Club on Oneida Street the week of August 18.

Before the meetings, each department had lunch with over four dozen children of all ages. Imaginasium staff swapped stories with the kids, heard about favorite Club activities, and traded food (Eric received a particularly good deal—a turkey bologna sandwich for a cup of strawberries; what a steal!)

“Holding the meetings at the Boys & Girls Club keeps us in-tune with today’s youth and the Club’s mission,” said Executive Creative Director Joe Bergner. “It’s helps us tell their story in relevant ways and inspires us to create future ideas,” he explained.

“Too bad we had to get back to the office after the meeting. That afternoon, the kids were performing a play, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” Graphic Designer Renae Geimer added. “The backdrop looked great, and they had authentic Willy Wonka candy as props. Pretty cool.”
