Press Release For Immediate ReleaseDax wins John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Award.Green Bay, Wisconsin — May 17, 2005 — Paul Dax, graphic designer with Imaginasium, Inc., won second place in the John Michael Kohler Art Center’s regional exhibition. The exhibit featured both established and emerging artists. As a not-for-profit organization, The John Michael Kohler Arts Center was established to support and recognize excellence in arts throughout the country.
Dax submitted a sterling silver tea service that he designed and fabricated as part of the 2005 Eight Counties Triennial exhibition. The Eight Counties programming theme was “Close To Home” and was comprised of works by artists from surrounding counties: Brown, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Sheboygan and Washington. Over 750 works of art were entered by 271 individuals.
Dax showcases his talents daily while working in the creative department of Imaginasium. Working on projects for clients such as Manitowoc Crane Group, Kohler and Schmalz Landscaping & Custom Gardens, Dax has been able to show his diverse creative strengths. Not one to sit back and do the ordinary, Dax continually demonstrates his out-of-the-box thinking while designing award winning work for Imaginasium. Dax graduated from The University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 2002 with an Art degree.
