Imaginasium wins the gold: Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce - Newcomers’ Guide wins regional advertising award.

Green Bay, Wisconsin — May 3, 2005 — Imaginasium, a full-service advertising, marketing and design agency has garnered a gold ADDY award in the interactive/multimedia category in the 8th District of the American Advertising Federation. The ADDY Awards are an awards program that recognizes excellence in advertising. Imaginasium had previously won a gold ADDY for the Chamber of Commerce piece through The Fox River Valley and Green Bay Advertising Federation awards.

The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce - Newcomers’ Guide — booklet and interactive CD — was automatically entered into the 8Th District AAF by winning the gold ADDY at the local level. Besides winning the gold from the Fox River Valley and Green Bay Ad Fed awards, the piece received the honor of winning Best of Show - Multimedia. “We are really pleased with the accolades this guide is receiving,” said Patrick Hopkins, partner and President at Imaginasium. “However, the most important part of the piece is that it is being well used by newcomers to the area and it is helping them get acquainted with the community.” The demand for the guide has been so high that within months of the initial print run, intended to last at least one year, the guide was slated for reprint.

The ADDY awards are unique within the advertising creative industry as they are the only competition that includes three rigorous levels of judging. Entries are first judged at a local level and must win gold in order to advance to one of 14 regional competitions. The 8th District AAF is made up of advertising clubs from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. By winning the gold at the district level the piece — created with strategy, message, media and goals in mind — will automatically be entered into the National awards competition.
