2006Imaginasium Work Wins Regional/National Creative AwardsWork produced by agency wins two 8th District ADDYs and four National Telly Awards Recent work by Imaginasium garnered regional and national awards on behalf of several locally based corporations. Imaginasium received four bronze awards in the 27th Annual Telly Awards for television campaigns produced for Wisconsin Public Service. The campaigns focused on home energy conservation during the holidays and year-round and featured spots entitled “Holiday Decorating”, “Holiday Entertaining”, “Morning”, and “Weekend”. “A primary objective of both the general and holiday campaigns was to illustrate how our changing lifestyles have the potential to drive up our energy consumption,” said Joe Bergner, Executive Creative Director at Imaginasium, “and then to offer powerful tips on how to manage energy costs by using less.” The holiday campaign featured vintage home movie footage accompanied by whimsical music and powerful statistics. The general conservation campaign depicted a whirlwind of activity in a typical family home during the morning routine and on weekends. The Telly Awards are a national competition honoring outstanding commercials produced for both broadcast and cable television. Additionally, Imaginasium received accolades in the 8th District American Advertising Awards for work done for Shopko Stores and for self-promotional efforts. An invitation package produced for the Shopko Charity Golf Classic won a Silver ADDY as did the Imaginasium 2005 Christmas gift for clients. Entries were first judged at a local club level through The Fox River Ad Club and all gold winners on the local level advanced to the regional District competition. The 8th District of the American Advertising Federation is made up of ad clubs throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. |
