2007Travel travails pay off with Account Executive Miranda Bickford![]() Best vacations ever: a tie between lounging the exotic beaches of Fiji and soaking up the scenery of Melbourne, Australia. Worst ever: driving to Greensburg, Kansas to visit the world’s largest hand-dug well — just to find it closed for the first time in its 100-year history. And so go the range of travel fortunes experienced by Miranda Bickford, the new Account Executive who’s joined our Brand Strategy forces. Sure she knows her business when it comes to research, focus group management, fundraising, sales support, and she’ll undoubtedly serve her clients’ branding initiatives well. But almost from the outset, we realized Miranda’s travels, good and bad, have given her two insights that we find invaluable: her exposure to various cultures has given her some pretty cool first-person insights into how different people think; and the disparities between travel experiences has taught her to quickly separate stuff that doesn’t suck from stuff that does. So next time you get a week off, have a good trip, Miranda. Or a bad one. Either way, something insightful will come of it. |
