Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce

Imaginasium supplied the missing ingredient - the city’s story, from which was developed a unique quality-of-life positioning. The Newcomers’ Guide, now branded Green Bay as “A Place to Shine.” Using the brand line “Work. Live. Matter.” as the lead-in, the piece connected with the reader at a deeper intellectual and emotional level. It told them in no uncertain terms that, unlike other locales, they could do more than survive in this city; they could thrive.

Combined with a CD-ROM companion resource, the piece provided the full measure of how one’s quality of life could be improved by living and working in Green Bay and its surrounding communities. And if demand is any indicator, the Chamber succeeded quite nicely; within a month of the original print run (intended to last a year,) a reprint was needed.

The project won the Grand Award for Communication Excellence for the Association of Chamber Executives, local and regional Gold ADDY awards, and Best of Show in the Interactive category.
What’s more, it was utilized well by Chamber members and was reprinted due to demand.

Imaginasium is currently in development of the next evolution of the “Shine” piece to carry the city’s story into the future.
