Wisconsin Public ServiceWisconsin Public Service has a unique responsibility to its customers. Like the majority of government-regulated energy companies throughout the US, Public Service sells its electricity and natural gas in a non-competitive environment. So even if they wanted to, the 442,000-plus customers couldn’t move their business to the next power company because there is no next power company. But it’s our guess that few would do so even if given the opportunity. The fact is, Public Service takes its role as sole energy provider very seriously and according to satisfaction surveys, the company is embraced by the vast majority of its customers. How has all this come to pass, even in the face of nationally rising energy rates? By adopting an eminently more interesting and admirable position: give customers the best service they’ve ever experienced precisely because they can’t go elsewhere. The objective at Public Service has always been to earn trust: trust with their residential customers, trust with their business/industrial customers; trust with their agricultural customers. Trust at every turn. A large part of that trust has been built through open, honest and ample communications. And in those efforts, Imaginasium has been glad to help them tell their story. |
